Breast cancer is a major cause of death for women.In recent years,computer-aided diagnostic systems that can detect tumors and distinguish between malignant and benign tumors have been developed.These systems may decrease the need of breast biopsies by increasing the diagnostic specificity.Recent studies on tumor vascularity,morphology,and texture have played an important role in differentiating breast tumors.Malignant tumors tend to need more neo-vessels for growth.
