With the development of the world economy and the progress of society and sciences,the spectrum of disease and death have been changing fundamentally.The spectrum of disease and death was mainly about infectious diseases and malnutrition in the past,but now the psychosomatic diseases which are caused by psychosocial factors,ethical factors and behavioral factors etc are playing a major role.At the same time medical model have been transforming from biomedical model to biopsychosocial medical model.At present there is an increasing trend in incidences of psychosomatic diseases every year in the worldwide,while the recognition rates of mood disorder are correspondingly low in the hospital.For coping with the changes of disease spectrum and medical model,our community health care centre has been providing public health care and basic medical care for citizens and building a new medical treatment mode as well.The new medical treatment mode which is called as six in one include prevention,medical,health,rehabilitation,health education and family planning technical guidance.Meanwhile,based on the mode we are developing and exploring the model of psychosomatic medicine with community characteristics.The purposes of the mode are to help patients via both mind and body,improve the physical quality of citizens,regulate management of patients and save national medical resources.At present the model of psychosomatic medicine in our community health care centre mainly reflect in establishing the system of preventive treatment of disease including prevention diseases and prevention deterioration.The contents of prevention diseases involve psychosomatic health education and providing individualized suggestions about health care and preservation.The goal of prevention diseases is to improve the physical quality of citizens and prevent the occurrence of diseases effectively.The contents of prevention deterioration are the management of chronic diseases for example hypertension,diabetes mellitus,coronary heart disease and stroke etc.The purpose of prevention deterioration is to provide chronic diseases patients with comprehensive measures including treatment,prevention and health care and so on.
