Purpose: To investigate the effects of uncorrection and full correction of myopia on myopia progression in Chinese children during a follow-up of two years.Methods: Myopia was defined as cycloplegic spherical equivalent (SE) ≤ -0.50D.Uncorrection meant no spectacles worn and full correction was defined as the value of SE subtracted from the childs current spectacles dioptric power to be less than 0.5D.
