A novel Cu(Ⅱ)-containing polyamide was synthesized by polycondensation of a copper(Ⅱ) coordination complex and m-phenylenediamine,with an inherent viscosity 0.20 dl/g.Then the p-phthalic acid monomer was introduced to the above synthesis system to create a Cu(Ⅱ)-containing co-polyamide with a higher molecular weight.
