The constructed wetland (CW) plays important role in restoring river with nonconventional water source such as effluent from municipal wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs),especially greatly reducing nutrients loading into receiving water.Therefore the purposes of this study were to investigate effects of flow field,operational mode,hydraulic loading rate (HLR) and their combination mode of CW on nutrients removal performance in order to select and optimize CW for advanced treatment of secondary effluent of WWTP.
