糖代谢异常与下肢动脉粥样硬化性病变(LEAD)的关系密切,在我国,50岁以上的糖尿病患者中LEAD的患病率高达6.90％～23.80％.糖尿病下肢血管病不仅是足病发生的危险因素,还是导致足病患者截肢的重要原因;此外,LEAD患者心血管事件发生风险和病死率明显增加,在确诊1年后心血管事件发生率高达21.14％.目前糖尿病下肢血管病存在高发病率、高致残率和高病死率(即"三高")以及临床上存在对该病低诊断率、低治疗率和低知晓率(即"三低")特点.
