Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been considered as "Hard to swallow" due to limited rational mechanism of action for most of its therapies.Persistent efforts and attempts have been made to dissect the action mode of TCM in recent years,which provided certain evidence for the inter-herbal interactions in TCM formulae.However,the intra-herbal interactions have been largely neglected as each TCM herb containing dozens of components was replaced by a single pure compound in most reports.In present study,we asked,whether there are interactions among different components from a single herb.
