Objective: Carcinoid is categorized under neuroendocrine tumors, which occur rarely and produce various hormones.This study aims to investigate the clinical features, treatment options,and prognosis of the primary carcinoids.Methods: We analyzed the clinical information of patients with primary carcinoid from January 1954 to January 2012 at Tianjin Cancer Hospital.We reviewed the paraffin-embedded sections,conducted a follow-up, and performed a survival analysis.
