Hyperlipidemia is one of the dominant factors of many chronic diseases, particularly global prevalent cardiovascular diseases [1].Herein, we reported a study to determine the changes in serum lipid levels and fatty acid profiles of high cholesterol diet (HCD)-induced hypercholesterolemic rats fed with total saponins of the rhizome and root of Panax notoginseng (Burkill) F.H.Chen (NS) using GC/MS.
