The formation mechanism of sheen phenomenon on wool-containing cloths was investigated by analyzing the fabric construction and the surface composition in the sheen and non-sheen part of the wool-containing cloths.Based on the mechanism,the schemes used to improved the sheen phenomenon on wool-containing cloths are proposed,and the optimum scheme was confirmed by the Subjective evaluation and M524 fabric gloss meter measurement.The experimental results showed that the sheen phenomenon has been improved effectively after using the sheen remover agent.
