目的 Reexpansion pulmonary edema is a rare complication following rapid reexpansion of a chronically collapsed lung,usually inthe same side of collapsed lung.方法 The present case report describes a 55-year-old man who developed contralateral reexpansion pulmonary edema with theipsilateral collapsed lung after tube thoracostomy drainage of empyema thoracis.
