京剧是中国的国粹,也是外国人了解中国传统文化的重要窗口。因此,京剧术语的翻译就显得尤为重要,本文从分析当前京剧术语翻译现状中的问题,指出翻译中必须遵循中国传统文化内涵的重要,并进一步说明京剧术语翻译的各种有效尝试。只有充分理解京剧术语的文化内涵,才能让京剧更好地走向世界。
Peking Opera is China’s national treasure and an important window for foreigners to understand Chinese traditional culture. Therefore, the translation of the terms of Peking Opera plays an important role. This paper analyzes the problems in the current status of the translation of the terms of the Peking Opera and points out that the translation must follow the importance of the Chinese traditional cultural connotations, and further explain various effective attempts of translation of the Peking Opera. Only by fully understanding the cultural connotation of Beijing Opera’s terminology can Beijing Opera be better able to go to the world.
