Purpose: The extensive regeneration ability of salamander,particularly in relation to maxilla re-growth following resection,is becoming increasingly recognized as a useful model system for understanding intrinsic gene expression in a whole animal context.As such,they present a simplified and controlled regenerating model system which can potentially provide clues as to the mechanism involved in the programming and polarity of resected maxilla.This research was to display the differential expression of the related gene in the maxilla regernation of slamander,then to reveal the posible mechnism to control the maxilla regerneration.
