Background and Purpose The receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) is considered as a central mediator of house dust mite (HDM)-and ovalbumin-induced asthma.Yet its role in toluene diisocyanate (TDI)-induced asthma is poorly defined.Cytoplasmic retention of β-catenin will lead to its nuclear translocarion and subsequent interaction with the transcription factor TCF/LEF that regulates target gene expression.
