　　Robustness has gathered in the last decades the interest of many specialists in the field of structures and infrastructures engineering.Such a characteristics can be seen as a specific property of a structure which is able to preserve the same,or a similar,level of performance even if local failures occur (Starossek &Haberland 2011,Frangopol et al.2012).
