  Sensitive enantioseparation of selected basic drugs using 20 μm i.d.capillary with native β-CD as the chiral selector was demonstrated by the large volume sample stacking (LVSS) method.Aqueous sample matrix with 20-70% ACN was found to be favorable for achieving enantioseparation due to the current stability observed within this concentration range.The presence of NaC1 in the sample matrix resulted to very unstable current flow inhibiting enantioseparation.The use of the LVSS with 20% ACN in the sample matrix allowed for the stacking and baseline resolution of terbutaline, methoxamine, propranolol, metaproterenol and isoxsuprine with detection limits of 3.47, 0.134, 0.77, 2.27 and 0.064 nanomolars, respectively.
