The synthesis of individual virtual auditory system(VAS)is an impo~ant and state-of-the-art technology in virtualreality.One of the key factors for individual VAS is to obtain a set of proper head related transfer functions(HRTFs).Apersonalization method is presented in this paper.FirsK multiple linear regression analysis is applied to get thelinear relationshipbetween HRTFs and some anthropometric parameters;second,the magnitude response of the individual HRTF is estimated;finallythe center.frequencies of the two prominent notches in the estimated magnitude response are modified by using the centerfrequencies estimated from the subjectS pinna parameters.The results show that the modified HRTF is more approximate to themeasured one.
