To commercialize a drug derived from natural fermentation products, an effective manufacturing process to prepare a commercial supply must be developed.However in the scale up of fermentation process development of fungal strains, it is not easy to control mycerial form in the liquid culture.The air uptake rate during fermentation is often inhibited by high viscosity resulting from filamentous mycelium form and finally the productivity becomes low.
