Seed number per silique is one of the most important components of yield in rapeseed.To unravel its genetic basis,a F2 population was derived from two sequenced rapeseed cultivars,Zhongshuang11 (de-novo sequencing) and No.73290 (re-sequencing),which showed great difference on seed number per silique.A high-density genetic map of 792 SSR/SNP markers was constructed,which covered all of the 19 linkage groups of rapeseed,with a total length of 2002.6 cM and an average distance of 2.3 cM between markers.
