1 Geological Background The Jingjing-Jiuling region in Hunan Province is located in the northeast region of Hunan. The working area is located in the middle of Jiangnan axis of the southern margin of the Yangtze Platform, with three Grade IV tectonic units including the Fushan Dome in the across the Curtain, the Changsha-Pingjiang Sag and the Liuyang-Hengdong Dome in the complex tectonics. The area is exposed in the Middle Proterozoic Jixian Department, the Great Wall, Mesozoic Cretaceous and the Cenozoic Quaternary, Mesozoic Proterozoic strata is the most widely distributed strata, accounting for three-fifths of the map area So it is also the main gold-bearing strata in the region.
