This study is carried out to re-confirm the prediction reliability of soil component using the real-time soil sensor (RTSS) in terms of moisture contents of paddy fields. The test fields were commercial farm managed by a professional grower one of the 100ha paddy farm managers. It is located at Ryugasaki city Ibaraki prefecture in Japan closed to Kasumigaura lake. The RTSS used was SAS2500 produced by Shibuya Seiki, which can provide soil spectra 350 nm-1700 nm, at depths 10 cm to 30 cm and in up to 60 cm/s driving speed.Tests were carried out in November 2014.Soil samples were collected at 100 locations at 35 m spacing along the transect.Soil samples for a reference (analysis) data were collected at the bottom surface carefully at the same depths as soil spectra were collected. Also we got prediction data of soil parameters by PLS model in the Unscrambler X ver 10.3 from soil reflectance. The creation of the calibration curve, using the analysis data (MC)and the absorbance of only 95 samples, except for five samples arbitrarily selected.By the calibration curve model, we got a Prediction data of the MC of all spectral data observation point. It was then performed to verify the prediction reliability of the unknown point by 5 samples that had been excluded in advance. It was carried out six times the series of operations. For these experiment, we found that (1) Reliability of spectral analysis decrease when we performed in the soil including puddles.(2) In the process of calibration curve works decrease the prediction reliability in the field where are small number of soil samples.
