Superfine and well-dispersed silver power was prepared by the reduction of Ag(NH3)2+ with aacorbic acid in the presence of poly-(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) and triethanolamine (TEA).The influence of PVP, TEA, concentration of silver nitrate (AgNO3) , temperature on size and morphology of silver particles were investigated.The results shows that ultra-fine and well-dispersed silver powder can be prepared at room temperature when the mass ratio of PVP, TEA and ascorbic acid to silver nitrate was eaual to 1∶1, 3∶1, 2∶1, respectively.The silver nanoparticles obtained were characterized on scanning electron microscopy(SEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD), ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy(UV-Vis), thermo-gravimetric analysis(TGA), etc.
