　　This paper reports the synthesis of monodispersed core-shell microemulsions via facile microdevice assembled from low cost plastic needles and simple components.Polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)microemulsions containing aqueous solvents such as sodium hydroxide(NaOH)and potassium carbonate(K2CO3)have been synthesised to remove carbon dioxide from simulated industrial emissions.
