一、战斗里成长鲁迅艺术学院华中分院(以下简称鲁艺分院)学员来自四面八方。除华中各抗日民主根据地和上海外,国民党统治区大后方的重庆、桂林等地,以及侨居海外的爱国青年,也跋涉千万里,通过重重封锁,冒着生命危险投奔盐城(新四军重建后的军部所在地,皖南事变后已无法去延安),把中华民族的希望寄托在中国共产党身上。他们到鲁艺分院一穿上新四军的军装,就产生一种革命战士所特有的自豪感。正是这种自豪感,使他们能战胜前进道路上的种种艰难险阻。

As soon as they arrived in Lu Yi Branch and put on the uniform of the New Fourth Army, they produced a sense of pride that was unique to the revolutionary fighters. It is this sense of pride that will enable them to overcome the difficulties and obstacles that lie ahead.
