I.INTRODUCTION In recent year the interest grows in the rare earth-indium binary intermetallic compounds with cubic AuCu3 type structure due to their critical effects such as heavy Fermion,antiferromagnetic,superconductivity at critical temperature and pressure [1-2].The antiferromagnetism has been observed in most ofRIn3 intermetallics.In this study,RIn3-xCox (R=Ce,Pr,Nd,Gd,Tb) compounds have been prepared by arc melting,and the doping effects of the 3d transition metal Co on crystal structure and phase transition have been investigated systemically by using X-ray diffraction and Rietveld structural refinement.
