  DNA中的5-甲基胞嘧啶是最具特征的表观遗传修饰,且在各种细胞过程中起着至关重要的作用.TET蛋白可以将5-甲基胞嘧啶(5mC)特异性氧化成为5-羟甲基胞嘧啶(5hmC),这种现象在RNA中也同样被发现.[1]RNA中hm5C可能通过调控RNA和蛋白质相互作用来调节基因的表达.[2]为了更加清晰的揭示hm5C的生物学功能,我们需要寻找更多新的检测方法.
