从药用真菌中鉴定出安全、有效的成分来预防和治疗癌症受到了越来越多的关注.灵芝作为一种药用真菌,单用或联合其他药物(草药或化学合成药)时,都表现出令人满意的效果.灵芝多糖(尤其是β-D-葡聚糖和糖蛋白)和三萜类物质是灵芝发挥化学保护和抗癌活性的主要成分,这已经被动物模型(大鼠和小鼠)实验证实.但是,随机、安慰剂对照的多中心临床研究却罕见报导.在我们进行的一个随机、安慰剂对照的多中心临床研究中,143名研究对象接受为期12周甘诺宝力(一种灵芝多糖提取物)治疗,方案为每天三次,每次口服1800mg.其中有38名患者病情稳定12周以上(12-50周).许多病人肿瘤相关症状,如出汗和失眠得到不同程度改善.甘诺宝力耐受性较好,在给药过程中,总共只观察到了5个轻度不良反应事件.这些初步结果表明灵芝是一种很有希望的防癌抗癌药物.但还需要进一步的研究以确定最佳使用剂量以及其安全性和有效性.
