In this talk Id like to present a couple results on global existence of small amplitude solutions to the system of nonlinear wave equations under the null condition.In particular,quadratic nonlinearities are of special interest in two space dimensions,because they are in the subcritical regime for scattering.As far as I know,there are no existing results concerning the system with multiple propagation speeds in such a subcritical case.
