A series of microporous imide functionalized 1,3,5-triazine frameworks (ITFs)were designed by a easy-construction technology other than imidazation method for theconstruction of porous triazine-based polyimide networks(TPIs)with same chemicalcompositions.In contrast to TPIs,ITFs exhibit much higher Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)surface areas(up to 1053 m2 g-1)and carbon dioxide uptake(up to 3.2 mmolg 1/14.2 wt%).The Qst(C02 esoteric enthalpies)from their C02 adsorptions at 273 and298 K are determined to be in the range 46.1-49.3 kJ mol-1 at low C02 loading,andC02/N2 separation factors are up to 70,exceeding those of most reported porous organicpolymers to date.High storage capacities of ITFs for other small gases(i.e.CH4 and H2)were also observed,making them promising adsorbents for gas adsorption and separation.
