We recall some recent results about homogenization of nonlinear partial differential equations in the context of ergodic algebras.We review the concept of twoscale Young measures in generalized almost periodic homogenization and some important applications in which its use demonstrates to be a decisive resource for the homogenization analysis,among which the porous medium equation and some correlated ones.
