Developing bio-based cationic functional nanoparticles have been widely explored as potential gene vectors since they possessed high gene loading efficacy,favorable biocompatibility,less immune response,as well as high serum-stability (1,2).In this work,a series of polycationic nanoparticles (NPs) based on biodegradable triblock copolymers poly(hydroxyletheyl methacrylate-L-lysine)-b-poly(L-lactide) -b-poly (hydroxyl-etheylmethacrylate-L-lysine)(PHML-b-PLLA-b-PHML) were designed and prepared via a combination of organocatalytic ring opening polymerization (ROP) (3) and atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP),and which were then facilely self-assembled in water to prepare PHML-b-PLLA-b-PHML NPs.
