Hollow carbon spheres(HCS)as emerging nanocarriers have been extensively applied in the fields of biomedicine, catalysis, and energy storage.Owning to the subtle hollow structures and large void spaces[1],HCS could be used to load efficient amounts of chemotherapy drugs for tumor therapy.Meanwhile,HCS have excellent light absorption and thermal conversion capability, and thus,is suitable for photothemal therapy.Herein,we designed a new light-controlled drug release system with temperature response polymers(TSP)coating to simultaneously achieve photoacoustic imaging and chemo/photothermal tumor therapy. The mesoporous HCS(MHCS)were obtained by simple carbonization of copolymer hollow spheres and presented a uniform distribution in a relatively small size[2](Fig.1).Figure 2.with the mesoporous silica wraped on the MHCS,the obtained yolk-shell-shell struction have high specific area and capacity to load chemotherapy drugs.By means of laser radiation, the materials could generate strong effect of photothemal to stimulate the release of drugs Thus we can flexibly control the laser radiation dose and timing for precision and high-efficiency tumor theranostics.
