Aim Previous studies have revealed anti-HBc levels as predictors of treatment response in HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients in both intefferon-α and nucleos(t)ide analogue therapy cohorts.However,there is limited information about anti-HBc levels in the natural history of CHB.This study aimed to define anti-HBc levels of different phases in the natural history of CHB.
