Introduction: As people age, residential decisions become important and inevitable, because older adults have an increased vulnerability to environmental challenges (lwarsson, 2005).The literature has a long history of emphasizing the needs for culturally specific and sensitive housing and support services for ethnic minority elders (Kendig, 2003).However, few studies have examined living arrangement issues among Chinese elders.The primary purpose of this study is to describe the living arrangements of Chinese American elders.
