  INTRODUCTION Photonic crystals(PCs)are dielectric materials with periodic structure,which possess the capability of controlling and manipulating the propagation path of photons [1].Especially due to the unique photonic band gap(PBG)property,PCs are capable of fluorescence enhancement,and various PCs-assisted sensors have been established to improve the detection sensitivity [2,3].In this work,a portable colloidal photonic crystals(CPCs)array chip,inspired by the confinement effect of nanoparticles self-assembly on patterned surface,was developed for signal-enhanced fluorescent assay.
