镀锌钢管的合金化,就是将镀锌钢管进行扩散退火热处理,这样处理后,纯锌层变为比较富有塑性的、利于焊接的、涂漆的铁—锌合金化镀层。经过盐雾试验证明:经合金化的镀锌管比未经合金化的镀锌管,其耐蚀性提高1~2倍以上;海洋条件下试用前者比后者的耐蚀性提高1~2倍。漆膜的涂着性也是比后者优越得多,经球冲法粘附性测试可达一级,而后者只能达4级。焊接性能及机械加工性能也比后者好。 国际上,美、日、英及苏联等国已将合金化镀锌钢管应用到建筑、海洋、油田、焦化等工业方面,效果显著。从上可见,对镀锌钢管进行合金化处理,是一种很有前途的高效材料制造方法。
