A new species, Stemphylium subglobuliferum on Lactuca sativa from Guizhou Province and four new records, S.globuliferum, S.rosarium, S.nabarii and S.lycopersici, are reported.Phylogenetic trees based on ITS and gpd (glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase) gene sequences support S.subglobuliferum to be a distinct species.The type specimen of the new species is deposited in the Herbarium of Plant Pathology of Shandong Agriculture University (HSAUP).
