PM2.5 separation has been a hot field in environmental engineering due to its pollution.Europe has executed an air quality criteria concerning the PM2.5 daily average concentration ≤35μg/m3 and the annual average concentration ≤15μg/m3,which is the 3rd period transition target announced by World Health Organization (WTO) for the PM2.5 control.China will execute the 1st period transition target in 2016,in which the PM2.5 daily average concentration is not larger than 75μg/m3 and the annual average concentration is not larger than 35μg/m3.Technologies for PM2.5 control including fabric filtration (FF),electrostatic precipitation (ESP) and wet techniques (WTs).The average cost for the particle matter reduction efficiency of ~75% is 500 Euro /kg particle matter (PM).The cost is unaffordable for Chinas heavy process industry based on resource processing.Our way-out is to develop a self-dependence innovation technology with low cost.So technology and theory for high efficient collection of chemical dust/mist PM2.5 from industrial emissions have become imperatives for the development of process industries in China.
