Desktop Videoconferencing (DVC),a means of Synchronous Computer Mediated Communication (SCMC),has been used in language education to enhance the learners speaking proficiency for more than a decade;however,there has not been much study on the interaction in the DVC sessions.Meanwhile,application of Conversation Analysis (CA) to classroom or other face-to-face interactions in language learning and teaching has grown considerably in recent years.
