Self-repair technology of wear of materials is an innovation technology in the field of surface engineering.Such composite mineral additives as serpentine were developed using such facilities as the ball milling suspending facilities.The morphologies and crystal structure of the mineral powder were observed and determined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).It has lamella structure with irregular section,and the average size is about 0.8 μ m.Tribological properties of silicate particles as 50CC additive were evaluated on an end-face friction and wear tester.
