London 2012 Olympic Games is renowned for its success in the regeneration of East London.As part of planning application in accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act, global remediation strategy, one of the first planning documents was submitted in 2006 to the Environment Agency in England and Wales and local authorities to provide a common resource for managing remediation strategy related work, thus minimizing duplication of design, regulatory requirements and programme risk.
