  The soybean plant (Glycine max) is attacked by several diseases that negatively affect plant yield, eventually resulting in significant crop losses.Fungicides are mostly efficient measure to avoid crop losses.Application of chemical fungicides to control fungal diseases is hazardous for human and animal besides reduction of soil microorganisms.Increasing restrictions on the use of toxic chemical fungicides in the environment has led to the search for novel plant protectants.
