Highly sensitive electrochemiluminescence and polymerase chain reaction (ECL-PCR) method for nucleic acid analysis was developed.A biotinylated primer (or probe) was used for sample selection through biotin-streptavidin linkage on the magnetic beads surface by magnetic field.A Ru(bpy)32+ (TBR)-labeled primer (or probe) was used as ECL probe, for the reaction between TBR and tripropylamine (TPA) can emit light for ECL detection.The ECL-PCR method was applied to analysis H-ras oncogene point mutation and genetically modified (GM) tobaccos.
