Aggregation induced emission(AIE)-based photoswitchable fluorescent nanoparticles represents a new trend in the application of in biological and optical studies because it opens new possibility for developing selectively highlighting biological substances(proteins,cells,or organelles) and individually addressable nanoscale devices with light.Its biggest advantage is that it can enhance the resolution and suppress interferences and autofluorescence for detecting the target in complex background environment,especially in biological samples such as live cells,tissues.
