On March 18 this year, GE Hong-bing published “The Chinese Literature Education Demands Reform” in the “Literary Journal,” and proposed the reform of the traditional Chinese education system and structure model and the establishment of a “literary and creative writing” discipline. The article immediately by the academic and higher education sector widespread concern. Some scholars directly put forward that our literary education is not only to reform, but to revolution. Others think that such a claim is essentially similar to the “literary revolution” of the last century. And thus put forward the slogan of “literary revolution in the 21st century.” 100 years ago, the literary revolution, that is, the vernacular movement, once promoted the thriving new cultural movement in our country. The nature of Chinese culture has undergone fundamental changes. Although the literary revolution was initially only shown as a formal change in the implementation of vernacular, he eventually came up with a complete subversion of traditional culture. Whether or not the current literary education system reform will also lead to the overall evolution of our cultural structure. In today’s world, the wave of globalization and the rapid development of new hi-tech new media are brewing a new cultural revolution. Our national culture will always be invincible, and we must face the challenge with a new attitude. Then, the implementation of the revolution in literary education can become a favorable opportunity for the new cultural movement in the 21st century. The article we published here is about the issue of “Reform of Chinese Literary Education.” Hope to inspire everyone’s thinking.
