Mosquitoes serve as vectors to various parasitic diseases from person to person thus remains as important perpetrators for human morbidity and mortality in the tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world.In the female mosquito,the salivary gland tissue plays a crucial role in the maturation of the infective form of the parasite.The present study focuses light on proteomic analysis of salivary gland from female Culex mosquitoes for furthering of comprehensive exploration of drug discovery.
