Wheat take-all, caused by fungal pathogen Gaeumannomyces graminis var.tritici (Ggt), is considered an important soil-borne disease, which can lead to yield loss up to 40% ~60%.Due to the wide host range of this pathogen and the severe damage it causes in agriculture, the efforts have been made to understand the mechanisms of the Ggt pathogenicity and the genetic basis of the Ggt pathogenicity.
