Objective: To investigate levels of autophagy in T cells and B cell of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and its clinical significance.
Objective: Loss of CD28 expression by CD8+ T cells occurs with age and during chronic inflammatory conditions.CD8+CD28-T cells are a heterogeneous cell subpopulation ranging from immunosuppressive to
The apoptosis of glomerular mesangial cells (GMC) in rat Thy-1 nephritis (Thy-1N), a model of human mesangioproliferative glomerulonephritis (MsPGN), is accompanied by sublytic C5b-9 deposition.
Intoduction: The programmed death 1 (PD-1) protein is a critical regulator of T-cell activation and is also an important therapeutic target for autoimmune diseases.

Objectives: Lupus nephritis (LN) is one of the most devastating complications and a main cause of morbidity and mortality in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).
Aim: Astragalus polysaccharide (APS) is an important bioactive component of Astragalus membranaceus (AM), an herb used in traditional Chinese medicine for treating inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
