Background: Alternative splicing is a molecular mechanism that produces multiple proteins from a single gene, and is thought to produce in diversity of proteins translated from a limited number of genes.However, it is still unclear that what physicochemical factors in alternative splicing lead to difference of structure and to what extent alternative splicing influence protein stability.
