Zinc oxide hollow nanospheres doped with Ni2+,Co2+ ions have been synthesized using a solvothermal reaction.The hydrolysis of metal salts, spontaneous aggregation, and localized Ostwald ripening took place in sequence during the reaction.Electron microscope observation and X-ray diffraction analysis confirm that the mesoscaled ZnO hollow spheres are finely doped with transition metals (TM).Magnetic hysteresis loops reveal robust coercivities at room temperature in the system.
